Straight Vane Roller Rigid Centralizers are Solid Rigid Centralizers designed with rollers on the vanes of the centralizer. The rollers are provided to low down torque and drag forces, and performs excellent in horizontal and deviated wellbores. It provides superior wear resistance and have been proven to remain functional throughout the life of the well and can aid in casing or tubing retrieval.

 

The capability of the roller centralizer is better than others of all. Straight Vane Roller Rigid Centralizers are mainly used for big high roller, high deviated wells and horizontal wells, to center casings. It can also remove wellbore cake and improve mud replacement efficiency etc. When running casing through open hole, the system’s smaller roller-contact area reduces the risk of differential sticking and maintains standoff. The roller relationship ensures that axle shear stresses remain within elastic limits, preventing permanent deformation. Axles are crimped in place, eliminating the welding process, while ensuring the rollers cannot break free and fall into the wellbore. The roller makes it to be the sliding friction instead of rolling friction when the casing is down, thus greatly reduce the friction between the casing and the borehole wall.
