How To Confirm Cementing Plugs Sizes During Cementing Operations

ZHENGZHOU,APRIL 26,2017 - Cementing plugs are designed for use with cementing heads and float equipment, which are used to remove mud of casing ID and provide separation between mud, spacers, and cement. At the same time, they have the features of preventing over displacement of the cement slurry and indicating completion of cementing job. All the cementing plugs sizes are available from 4-1/2 to 20inch.

 

According to different casing sizes, we can provide different sizes cementing plugs, weight ranges and bump pressures are considered. Generally speaking, customers often use 7inch, 7-5/8inch, 9-5/8inch,10-3/4inch cementing plugs.
